Pitch Transcript:


Most everyone has a bank account, and I'm willing to bet that most people with a bank account have their bank's app in their smartphone.
Unfortunately I'm also willing to bet that most of those people would probably improve something on it, like more control over investments, more flexibility in credit card payments, and just easier access to account information overall.

So today I would like to, if nothing else, at least introduce the idea of a global bank portal, that gives you easy access to any information in your account, in multiple accounts, and eliminates the need to download separate apps per bank.

So you just download the one app, and you can control all of your accounts as if you were in person in the bank but better and easier. So no more nonsense in your bank statements, and you can get maybe notifications about when you can invest or sell if you're already investing; and this could increase the rates of mobile banking outside of the U.S currently at 36% in Latin America and 26% in Europe

    You really went the extra mile with this post, Carlos! I appreciate the effort you put into editing your video and including a transcript with it. I'd bump those statistics at the end higher up in the presentation to substantiate your suggestion that mobile banking needs improvement. Maybe if banks adopted your app, mobile banking use would increase! Nicely done, succinct pitch.

    Hey Carlos, I have also thought a lot about mobile banking apps. I frequently have trouble with my banking software. It is possible that banks would push back on having a centralized app. Would you create apps for individual banks or a single infrastructure? What do you believe is the greatest limitation with banking apps now.? I enjoyed your presentation!
